Centrifugal Eye

I was driven to finish the book because the premise lured me and plotting was interesting enough to keep me hopeful. I'd read some of Susan's other books, so expected a certain amount of competent writing. This one was less polished and could use some line editing in several places. My biggest beef is with the characterization. Mia is about as unlikable a personality as one can get for a protagonist. If she'd been a non-PoV character, her immature and idiotic behavior could be easier tolerated.

A good, fun read. A murder mystery with just a teeny, tiny touch of the paranormal. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I'm happy to recommend it.

This was a definite page Turner, don't stop until I'm done story! Just enough evidence and suspects to make knowing who dunnit tricky. Can't wait to read book 2 especially after the teaser!
