I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Katy and Ivan meet at her club, Amber Room. Katy inherited the club when her father died, as well as his debts. The debts are a lot to handle, and her life begins to revolve around her business. She needs to cut loose and have some fun. Enter Ivan. Things between Katy and Ivan move fast from there and they spend the night together. One HOT, STEAMY night. Soon Katy is at a crossroads. She needs to come up with money to pay her debtors or she will find herself in a very bad predicament. Ivan offers to help but under his rules, his conditions. Ivan is BIG, STRONG and SEXY as sin. He has a commanding presence. Katy gets swept up almost immediately. The two become close, considering their arrangement, and it begins to feel real. But how real can it be? She needs him for protection, it's only an arrangement, right? One letter changes everything Katy wanted to believe. Could Ivan be so cruel to deceive her just to get what he wants? Ivan is a SEXY, HOT HIT MAN with a softer side when it comes to Katy. Katy is blinded by her feelings of being protected and taken care of by him. Oh, there's the sex too! The sex is STEAMING HOT and there's a lot of it in here too ! TOO GOOD ! GREAT CHARACTERS AND A GREAT STORY ! A DEFINITE ONE-CLICK !

I loved this book. And I have to say it is my favorite mafia based book so far. I love how instead of dragging out the timeline it skipped months ahead. Not a boring part to be found. And with the descriptions of the characters you either love or hate them instantly. I have read have read hundreds of books and this one is now one of my top 5.

There are parts that I absolutely love but I found it jumped from areas too much. Big leaps from one holiday to another. But overall it was an okay book and a decent read.
